Six Months Already!

We never bought an exersaucer for Carter so we decided to try it with Laney. She likes it for short periods of time. She is so cute in it.
I wanted Carter to hold Laney but he couldn't...he was dropping her all over the place.

She LOVES Chuck, if he is around, she grins from ear to ear the whole time.

Laney turned six months yesterday - I know, we can't believe it either. We have tried to take a picture every month on the 28th with Laney and/or Carter. Yesterday, I put her on the floor and went to get the camera. I mentioned last month that our camera was about to give out and it did yesterday of course. So, today I made a trip to Wal-Mart and purchased a much needed camera. So far we love it.

Laney has been sick over the past week. The Dr. said she had a virus which has caused a rash on her torso and a lack of appetite. We are going to cut back on her solids for a while to increase her milk intake. She had gained some weight and is now 13 lbs. 8 oz. She can still wear some of her 0-3 month clothes but the 3-6 month are starting to fit better. Carter has outgrown his size 4's. It was like it happened over night. We had to take a shopping trip for some size 5's the other day. Carter continues to do well - no sickness so far. I hate to see my babies sick - and the lack of sleep in our household.

Missing the warm weather...

Last weekend was absolutely beautiful! We played outside all weekend. Carter has always preferred to be outside playing and Laney really enjoys it as well. On Sunday, we had a pic-nic in our back yard and then played together on the trampoline. Chuck noticed Laney's hair and we wanted to post some pictures of the static in our children.

We are hoping for some more beautiful weather so that we can enjoy our big yard but it isn't looking too good.

Chuck, Carter, Reed and Krista (the neighbors) built a huge snowman last night. We went out this morning and played in the snow for a while. Carter is loving it!

It is snowing so beautifully...we had to get out for a few pics tonight. Carter is afraid it is going to be gone when he wakes up. They have actually already called off school for me tomorrow so we are going to get some more pics tomorrow.

Wii Addiction

For Valentine's Day, Chuck and I went to get our taxes done. Carter and I ordered a pizza for lunch to celebrate.

We got a Wii for Christmas and quickly became addicted to games. This past weekend, we got the Wii fit for it. We are all so addicted to the exercise and daily tests. We even have Mimi addicted. Carter loves playing and it gets us all active. We love it!

Laney turned 5 months old yesterday - the time is flying by so quickly! She has been such a good eater and the paperwork said that when she became an expert eater with cereal, we could move on to vegetables. So, she had a serving of squash yesterday and today. She ate it very well. If only we could get Carter to eat that well. I also took some pictures of the cuties.

Carter seriously thinks that he is Superman or Batman. He hides and changes into his pajamas like a real super hero. He is constantly pretending. So, in most of the pictures, he is posing as Batman.

We are in desperate need of a new camera. Ours takes blurry pictures and has a delay so we are missing important "Kodak Moments". If anyone knows of a great camera, please let me know.

It is starting to snow here so maybe we will get some pictures in the snow tomorrow.
