We went for Laney's 4 month well visit on February 5th. She weighed 11 lbs. and 12 oz. She was also 23 1/2 inches long. The Dr. said she looks great and is doing well. I scheduled Carter's and Laney's visit together next time. Carter will be getting his 5 year old shots for Kindergarten - I can't believe it! We will have to buy some extra Tylenol for that night.
Laney has started squealing very loudly as a means of communication. She squeals at Carter all the time because he is always in her face. She loves to squeal really early in the morning while everyone tries to sleep. I guess if Laney is awake so is everyone else.
I took some pictures of Laney last week, early one morning. She was so happy and smiley. Just thought I would share. My mom says that I always talk about Laney on here and forget to mention Carter. I will do better about that. The problem with pictures is that Carter nevers changes out of his pajamas and I don't want to take pictures of him in pajamas all the time. Also, he is not making any huge strides on a daily basis.
Carter learned how to write his first name clearly last week, it actually looks better than Chuck's handwriting. He also knows how to spell his last name orally. Mom taught him how to add and subtract playing Parchessi. He loves Monopoly and we make him add the dice and count the spaces. I worry about kindergarten but I am sure he will do better than we think.
