Happy Late Mother's Day...

Happy Late Mother's Day to everyone. I had a Mother's Day Tea for my kids at school. Mom brought Carter and Laney to see the program and have lunch with me on that day. I took pictures of all my school kids with their moms so Carter wanted to take a picture with me. I am so thankful for my two wonderful children, without them I wouldn't be a mother. We are so blessed!

Praying for Kayleigh...

I do not personally know this family but have checked in with their blog periodically. Please keep the family in your prayers as they deal with this difficult time.

Does anyone need a Superhero?

Carter really believes that he is a Superhero. He changes into Batman, Spiderman and Superman often. He hides, changes clothes and then comes out and says he is going to work to save people. We were talking about our summer vacation the other day and he said "Oh man, I am not going to get to go to the beach because I have to work...Superheros never get a vacaction because there is always crime to be fought." I tried to tell him that there will be crime for him to fight in Hilton Head too. I am not sure how long this phase will last! The other night, Chuck caught a ton of photos of him at work.
Laney turned 7 months old on the 28th of April. This time of year is so busy at school and home so the pictures are not great ones. Carter had fallen asleep so we didn't get any of them together this time.
We are also struggling with Chuck's hours at UPS. He works 4 nights each week and Carter cries EVERY night because he misses Chuck. We are praying for him to obtain a new position where he would no longer have to work at night. The other night as we were saying our prayers, Carter said, "God, please let my daddy be home." I cried with him that night!
