Happy Easter

We had my mom & dad, Chuck's dad, Johnie and Dee's family over for Easter lunch. After lunch, we had an egg hunt. The kids had a great time.

Carter said he got everything he wanted from the bunny. He got some Spiderman pajamas, Batman handcuffs, Pitfall for the Wii and some candy. Laney got a stroller/walker with a babydoll. The Easter bunny was really good to us.

Weekend Warrior

Last weekend Chuck, Jason and some of their friends played in the Weekend Warrior flag football tournament at Panthers stadium. They lost 2 games on Saturday so they didn't get to play on Sunday. But, we got to enjoy Jason's family for the weekend. Josh, Melissa and Nicholas came out to watch them play too. We had a great time!

Well Visits

We took Carter and Laney for their well visits this past Wednesday. Dr. Davis said they were both doing great. Carter weighed 38 pounds and Laney weighed 14 lbs. Laney was 25 3/4 inches long and we somehow missed how tall Carter was. Carter was in the 75% for height and Laney was 50% for height. Laney was 25% and Carter 50% for weight.

Laney has eczema very badly. Her body is covered in dry, red patches. The Dr. gave us a perscription and it is starting to heal up nicely.

Carter said the shots hurt VERY badly. It took two nurses and Chuck to hold him down. I ended up crying with him - I hate to see them hurt. Laney cried a little but not nearly as badly as Carter. We took Carter to Target for a treat and went to stay in a hotel.

Carter loves to go to any hotel. He associates it with staying up late, swimming and eating junk food in bed. So, we went uptown Charlotte and stayed for a night at the Westin. We went up to the Epicenter and had dinner and bowled. Carter loves to bowl. Then we went back to the hotel and swam for a while. Laney loved the water but her skin started to turn blue so we took her out.

The next day, we went to Laurinburg to visit Chuck's Grandma Nina and his family.
